Lorraine and Bennett Hammond – March 18th

On Sunday afternoon, March 18th, Lorraine and Bennett Hammond will be coming to Still River Road to present a mix of original and traditional music. Lorraine plays dulcimer, harp and banjo. Bennett plays guitar, banjo and kora. Both are wonderful performers and teachers, and their shows are always a delight.

After the concert we’ll have a jam and potluck for those interested in staying and playing, singing and sharing community.

2011-2012

To answer the question we get often, yes, we will put on shows this winter. We will only do a few this year, since our engagements playing our own gigs has taken more of our time. Stay tuned for updates, but we’re looking at shows later in the winter and early spring at this point. Probably only two shows, but they promise to be outstanding ones!

Thanks for another great season

We’ve just completed our third season at Still River Concerts. We, your hosts, Dan & Faith, want to thank the performers who played for us, and all who came out to listen. The season included Reggie Harris, Maura Kennedy, John Kirk & Trish Miller, Randall Williams, Friction Farm, Beth DeSombre, Carolyn Waters, Jack Williams, and Pete Kennedy.

At this point we don’t know how many shows we’ll be able to produce in the future. It’s likely there will be occasional shows, but likely fewer than in these past three seasons.

Peace and light,

Dan & Faith
